食人鱼 PIRANHA

我是一条绿色的食人鱼。 I am a green piranha.

因为我的牙齿又快又锋利，所以别的鱼都怕我。 Because my teeth bite quickly and are sharp, the other fish are afraid of me.

小鱼被我吃掉以后，我就安安静静地待在水里。 After I eat the little fish, I stay quietly in the water.

鲨鱼 SHARK

我是一条蓝色的鲨鱼。 I am a blue shark.

虽然海里的水很冷，但是我一点也不觉得冷。 Although the water in the sea is cold, I do not feel cold at all.

我把身子藏在石头后面，等小鱼游过来。 I hide my body behind a rock and wait for the little fish to swim over.

鸭嘴兽 PLATYPUS

我是一只鸭嘴兽。 I am a platypus.

因为我的嘴扁扁的，所以我能在河底找到虫子。 Because my bill is flat, I can find bugs on the river bottom.

找到的虫子被我一口吃掉，我又去找下一只。 I swallow the bug I find in one bite and go to look for the next one.

河马 HIPPO

我是一只绿色的河马。 I am a green hippo.

因为白天太阳很大，所以我整天待在水里不出来。 Because the sun is strong during the day, I stay in the water all day and do not come out.

晚上我才上岸，把河边的草慢慢吃完。 Only at night do I go ashore and slowly finish the grass beside the river.

大象 ELEPHANT

我是一头黄色的大象。 I am a yellow elephant.

虽然我很大，但是我走路的时候一点声音也没有。 Although I am very big, I do not make any sound when I walk.

树上的叶子被我的长鼻子够下来，我一口就吃完了。 My long trunk pulls down the leaves from the tree, and I eat them in one bite.

狮子 LION

我是一只金色的狮子。 I am a golden lion.

因为白天太热，所以我常常在草地上睡一整天。 Because it is too hot during the day, I often sleep in the grass all day.

傍晚我才起来，把小狮子带出去走一走。 Only at dusk do I get up and take the little lion out for a walk.

长颈鹿 GIRAFFE

我是一只长颈鹿。 I am a giraffe.

虽然树很高，但是我的脖子更高，叶子我都够得到。 Although the tree is tall, my neck is even taller, so I can reach all the leaves.

最高的叶子被我吃完了，别的动物只能看着我。 I finish the highest leaves, while the other animals can only watch me.

熊猫 PANDA

我是一只熊猫。 I am a panda.

因为竹子不好消化，所以我一天要吃很久很久。 Because bamboo is hard to digest, I have to eat for a very long time every day.

一根竹子被我吃完，我又拿起了第二根。 After I finish one bamboo stalk, I pick up a second one.

鳄鱼 CROCODILE

我是一只绿色的鳄鱼。 I am a green crocodile.

虽然我看起来不动，但是我其实一直在等。 Although I look motionless, I am actually waiting all the time.

我把身子藏在水里，只把眼睛留在水面上。 I hide my body in the water and leave only my eyes above the surface.
